Okazaki castle

After visiting Daijuji temple we got back on the bus and drove to Okazaki castle. The castle is famous for being the birthplace of Tokugawa Iyeyasu, however this is not the original castle as it was rebuilt in 1959. The castle is located in Okazaki park where we also visited Mikawabushi-no-yakata (Samurai museum). There we saw various exhibits, such as weapons, armor and art work. We also got to try on samurai outfits and pick up some of the weapons.
