Inabu - our homestay and bbq

sushi platter

Our host family lives in Inabu, a smal town in the mountains that has a population of about 3,000. It is on the road from Toyota city to Nagano. Many of the families that the students are staying with live outside the city and are surrounded by dense forests of evergreen trees and open land covered with rice pattys. One of the activities that many of the families did this past weekend was host a bbq and light fireworks. Our family invited some of their friends over for dinner from their town of Inabu. There was a lot of good food that was grilled on the bbq and a platter of fresh sushi was also served. After the bbq many of the families enjoy doing fireworks.
