We were back at school today after a fun couple of days off. Yesterday we all did activities with our host families, some of the activities that the students did on Sunday included; the aquarium, shopping at the Nagoya mall, off roading, Nagoya symphony, conveyor belt sushi, Nagoya castle and ping pong. Laney and I went with our host family to Nara. In Nara we fed the deer that they allow to roam the streets. We also saw two temples, the first one we visited was the largest wooden struture in the world and was built with no nails. The second was the oldest wooden temple in the world.

On our way home from Nara we stopped at Nagoya Castle to top off a very fun (and hot) day of visiting the sites. All the students have been doing very good and have been doing there best to stay cool and hydrated. They have been doing a great job of practicing their Japanese and learning the culture.
