Our host family lives in Inabu, which is on the east side of Toyota City. It takes about 45 mins to drive to Kamogaoka high school from Inabu. All the students are staying with host families in Toyota City and have much shorter commutes than we do. The surrounding area is not that much different than Oregon, with dense forests of trees. On our drive in we pass many rice pattys, rivers and forests. The weather has been pleasently on the cool side and cloudy with some rain showers.
